Rare Vintage 90s Chanel Jumbo tote bag. Estimated Dimensions: 16”x11” with 7” depth Authenticated and Appraised by Third party. Report below: An Authentic Chanel Grand Black Patent Leather Quilted Shopping Tote Bag CONDITION: Appears to be in fair condition commensurate to age and use. Flaws include sagging shape, tarnishing chains, scuffs, and worn interior. Chanel started using date codes in 1984. Since then, every bag comes with a sticker containing a serial number as well as a corresponding authenticity card. This serial number 2275425 is from 1991-1994 but unfortunately, the bag is missing the authentic card but tag is included and preserved. The color of the logo stamp will always match the color of the hardware, so a bag with gold hardware should have a gold stamp. The stamp is gold in color and matches the hardware. Chanel uses several different brands for their zippers whose names will be marked on the zipper pull, the most popular being Lampo but also include YKK, EP, and zippers with the Chanel logo printed on them. This bag appears to have CC Logo zipper and passes the test. Other factors: A low stitch count on a counterfeit will make the quilting look puffy and uneven. Also, be aware of sloppy or frayed stitching. This bag has an excellent stitch count and passed this test. Hardware on a real Chanel bag will feel heavier and more substantial, this bag passed this test. Suggested Cost: $2,500-$3,000
