In a 1952 interview for LIFE magazine, Marilyn was asked what she wore to bed, and she famously responded “Chanel No. 5.” In April of 1960, Marilyn was interviewed by journalist Georges Belmont for the French magazine Marie Claire. She was on the set of Let’s Make Love. During the 1960 interview, Marilyn reflected on the question from the LIFE magazine interview and she spoke about not wanting to answer the question with saying that she slept in the nude.
