Rediscovering My Style - Skincare, beauty & lifestyle blogger

Who doesn’t like to get free cash?! I certainly do, and I was thrilled to hear that when I shop online I can get rewarded with cash from a company called ShopBack. How brilliant does this sound – and there is absolutely no catch! Hard to believe, but true! So many people are now shopping online anyway, so extra cash is a bonus for our normal shopping habits. I love to shop online for many reasons; it is so easy, I can shop at 10 pm at night in my PJ’s if I choose. I get access to items that are not available in my local stores. I can also shop from stores in the UK and USA for example – it brings a world of shopping to my house! I was introduced to ShopBack by the lovely Mel in Melbourne – Mel is a r who my daughter and I love to watch. What Is ShopBack? Shopback describes themselves as “a digital loyalty and discovery platform, on a mission to create a world of Smarter Shoppers”. They are a Singaporean-based e-commerce company founded in 2014 and has since established its online presence in 7 Asia/Pacific countries, with Australia being one of these countries. ShopBack has over 5 million users, and they have paid out over $25 million in cash back. ShopBack’s partners pay them a commission on each successful order placed, and then ShopBack shares that commission with their users (us). Some of ShopBack’s partners include , ASOS, AliExpress, Uniqlo, Net-a-Porter, The Iconic, Priceline, Chemist Warehouse, Expedia, Booking.com, and . There are over 600 retailers, if you shop with these stores online anyway why not get rewarded for it – it makes perfect sense! Unfortunately,  ShopBack is only available in the Asia/Pacific region. If you are from other areas of the world, I had a quick google search and there are lots of other cashback sites that may be worth your time to research. Rakuten – formally known as Ebates has been around for a long time. In the UK, TopCashback seems to have a good reputation. Since I haven’t used these sites personally, I can only recommend you do some research into them to see if they are a good fit for you. How Does ShopBack Work? Firstly, you need to sign up to ShopBack (which is free). Once you’ve made your account, you search for your chosen retailer, “activate” your cashback, and then the site takes you straight to that retailer and you shop as normal. When you make your normal purchase you get rewarded with cash into your ShopBack account, it’s that simple! Your cashback account will show “pending” in your account activity, this is to ensure that all sales are final and are out of a refund period (which is different for each individual retailer). Your account shows you the date at which your money is available to you. After this date, the pending funds will be moved to your available balance. Once you reach $10.01 in your available balance you can request a payout to either your bank account or Paypal account. You can also add the ShopBack buddy extension to your browser. Every shop you visit the buddy will let you know if they are partnered with them – this way you will never miss out on your cashback! You can use my link to receive $5 to get you started! How Much Will You Earn? Each individual retailer offers a different percentage of cashback. For example, Sephora offers 7%, but only offers 1%. David Jones and Debenhams both offer 6.50% but Myer only offers 3%. Even though some retailers offer a smaller percentage in cashback, it is still worthwhile as it all adds up. ShopBack also has its own promo codes and deals to use, saving you extra money. They also periodically have cashback upgrades, meaning for a certain amount of time the percentage you receive back will be bigger! If you are a savvy shopper your money will add up in no time!
