Chanel’s recently reformulated eyeshadow quads, Les 4 Ombres, is finally here in Singapore!  I had reviewed Tisse Venitien earlier, the feature palette that has been shown on all the marketing materials, and was in no particular hurry to go blow more dollars.  But when I found myself inexplicably in front of a Chanel counter, I couldn’t help but dip my fingers in the fresh display.  Since I was at it, I thought I’d at least do it in the name of blogging, and bring you some swatches together with my first impressions! Of course I can do this in chronological order, but that’s not quite as fun nor confusing to do.  At first swatch, the palettes fall into 3 broad categories in my mind, and they represent the type of look that I think are achievable. The Pretty Gals are some of sweet pastel-ish palettes that I think are general crowd pleasers.  Suitable for all day wear, great for brunch with the gals or a day at the office.  They are: Tisse Camelia (202) is a warm gentle breeze through the famed Camelia Gardens.  The colors are very similar to YSL’s Couture Palette #7 Parisienne, but I prefer Tisse Camelia for the better pigmentation and texture.
